Speed measurement at hockey events – Hockey Day of the Augsburger Panther

Last weekend the Speedmaster was in action at the Hockey Day of the Augsburger Panther. More than 1000 spectators flocked to the Curt-Frenzel Stadium for this traditional season’s opening event. Due to the great atmosphere one fantastic part of the event was the Skill Competition, where the pros and junior players proved their skills. In addition to the ability and speed on the skates, the accuracy of impact shots, the shot speed measurement was also one of the interesting categories. All players, from young to old, were very motivated and competed really hard against each other. In this video you can see how our professional speed measurement system is used to determine the player with the hardest shot among the professionals and talents. Ultimately, Brady Lamb was able to assert himself with a very strong 163 km/h.
